“My name is Mary and I have a 12 year old daughter named Brooklyn.

Ever since Brooklyn was 8 years old she seldom smiled. I noticed that when she did smile, she would use her hand to cover her mouth. I knew she did this because she had some missing and crooked teeth. She hated to be photographed.

Brooklyn and myself knew that she would need braces. I put the braces off as I wasn't sure how I was going to pay for them, or if Brooklyn would follow all of the recommendations made by the Orthodontist. Brooklyn started begging (literally) to get braces as she herself felt uncomfortable with her teeth and lack of smile.

Brooklyn was referred to Larson Orthodontist Specialists and we met Dr. Katie.

At Brooklyn's first appointment, I wasn't sure what to expect. As a parent, my mind was racing with "How am I going to pay for these braces?" "Will Brooklyn like the Orthodontist?" "Will Brooklyn follow the recommendations of Dr. Katie, which will bring confidence for Brooklyn to smile?"

When I first met Dr. Katie, I knew right away, she was the Orthodontist for Brooklyn.

Dr. Katie answered all of my questions and explained everything to Brooklyn and myself. Such as, how long she will need to wear braces to what to expect when they are off. Dr. Katie also created a payment plan that works out for me.

After that first appointment with Dr. Katie, I knew I made the right choice in choosing Larson Orthodontic Specialists for Brooklyn's Orthodontic work.

Brooklyn now has her braces and is incredibly happy with Dr. Katie and Dr. Matt. So much that she is even smiling without covering her mouth and this is with her braces on!! She also likes to be photographed, something she didn't enjoy before!
